Mount Kilimanjaro — Lemosho Route

One of Kilimanjaro's most scenic routes, with one of the best acclimatisation profiles on the mountain.

Overview

Itinerary at a Glance

Starting from the quiet western side of the mountain, the Lemosho Route offers a peaceful wilderness experience, low traffic in the first days, and spectacular views across the Shira Plateau. Following the “climb high, sleep low” principle, this 8-day itinerary gives your body excellent time to adjust to the altitude on the way to Uhuru Peak (5,895m), supported throughout by professional guides, cooks and porters.
