Meet your guide in Arusha and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, descending 600 metres into the crater — a UNESCO World Heritage Site home to lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest and, if lucky, the rare black rhino. Picnic lunch near the hippo pool, then continue on toward Serengeti.
A full day game drive across the Serengeti's endless plains, home to large lion prides, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes and thousands of grazing animals — with a chance to witness the Great Migration depending on the season.
